East Fork Red: Part of our Wild Clay Series, East Fork Red is 99% North Carolina clays/feldspars. This is a smooth, high temperature stoneware clay body that was developed in conjunction with East Fork Pottery, specifically to fire in a cone 10 gas reduction kiln. It is made with the wonderful wild clays found in NC and fires to a beautiful orange/red color in moderate reduction and looks great in wood or salt kilns. The East Fork Red is great for wheel throwing, hand building and slab work.
